As a teenager, I asked my dad to show me how to use the power tools in his workshop. He replied that everyone he knew who used power tools was missing a finger. In art school, I had to creep quietly into the small workshop lest the male teacher next door rush in and do my job for me. I had to wait 70 years before I finally found a place where I could do it MYSELF. Thanks, TechShop!
